cd C:\test
ren file.ttf file.shx
Since the files are using shapes, you will be using all the shapes from the TTF file into the application that requires SHX format.
In order to upload a Word or PDF file to your page, I suggest you to use DOCS, an application which allows you to create or post a document to Facebook. To upload the file, go to Add a Doc > Upload a Doc and click Browse to select your document. After the file is added you can choose the Viewers or the Editors. Furthermore you can add tags for your document.
Also in order to upload a Word or PDF file to Facebook, you can convert the document to an image using applications like: PDF to JPG Converter or DOC to Image Converter. Another solution is to upload the document to a sharing website and to use the link to post it to Facebook.

Not 100% sure about the "D" but the sufficient privileges usually happen when the file is opened/in use or you need to be a PC admin to do the action. Restart you PC (will close program) and try to reinstall the program as an Admin.
